In 2025, I also assisted Stephen Hamilton in his project Under the Spiders Web: A project encompassing the vast and rich history of weaving practices throughout west Africa. Alongside Mr. Hamilton, I designed and crafted wood cladding for a ten-foot and fifteen-foot loom. This journey with woodworking has felt particularly meaningful, as it allowed me to express mark-making in an organic, meditative, and impactful way.
